This Way

So we had a poster sell at my college yesterday right? Well given, I found like 2 million Beatle posters but I found two photos that were very parculiar.

Those were the ones I bought.

I tried to get a picture of the other ones just because I thought it was amusing. By accident (or maybe deliberately) they had three photos of John and Paul and on the bottom it said "Beatles John/Paul."

I double taked when I saw it. My friend was like "uh..move along. We all want to look through them." (they had placed these GIANT books of posters out on the tables)

I shook my head and went "Good Glory, these poster dudes are slashy peoples!"

She didn't get it and had to forcibly move me away by dragging me. The dude who was selling it wouldn't let me take pictures (for obvious reasons).

I hope I don't offend anyone with this post as there are many good stories in the archives, and new writers trying their hand at fan fiction everyday.  But, I just finished one of the most amazing fics I've read in any fandom, and as there may be people here who have not read this, I wanted to say, PLEASE do so!

It's "Stand By Me" by Forsomeone and JKG_Vader.

I laughed, I cried, I read chapters with a lump in my throat, I cheered, I gasped, and I applauded the writers.  It is just a beautiful masterpiece, and I thank both of you for writing it.  If you love John and Paul and a great love story....this is for you.

I'm looking for an interview with Eric Clapton that I read at one time and can't remember where. It's probably from the 80s.
In part of this interview he is talking about George mainly but also about the other Beatles. He is talking about the awkwardness in their relationships and that he can see how much they love each other but with everything that's gone down how they are unable to really express it and about Eric's frustration on being witness to this and how he felt like just knocking their heads together.
Does this ring a bell with anyone? I'm sure I haven't dreamed it and I would really like to read/hear it again.

Hi! I'm a first-time poster here, but I've been lurking for a long time.

I was listening to some of John's songs the other day, and I was trying to figure out which ones could be about Paul. And then I noticed that in a few of the songs that I thought were about Paul, John used the word "darling." 

So, being that I have too much time on my hands the obsessive John/Paul slasher that I am, I went through and saw how many songs this was true for. And I made a suprising discovery : almost all of the songs that were about Paul did use "darling."

So take a look below and tell me if you think I might've discovered something.
